Tapachula

It is a municipality and city with a hot, humid climate in the Mexican state of Chiapas. Chiapas State, is located at the foot of the Chiapas highlands and near the Guatemala border. It is the commercial center of a coffee-growing region and an important transportation link between Mexico and Central America. Ceramics and leather goods are produced by local artisans.
